Wagon Wheel Orchard - Gardner KS

In 2012-14 had a very bad experience. Ordered several trees in 2012. Some trees arrived broken. He said he would replace them. In 2013 I placed another order for several trees and reminded him about the replacements. After a few emails he finally wrote back acknowledging the order. I never received that order. In 2014, I finally got him to send replacements, however they were sent in very hot weather and arrived dead.

Back in January of 2012 I ordered 21 bench grafts from Wagon Wheel Orchard (at $10 each). Despite sending reminders in April and early May I did not receive my order until mid-May. The delay would not have been an issue, but these trees were being shipped bare root and almost all of them were leafed out when they arrived. Unsurprisingly, every single one of the trees was dead within two months. Since I really did want to support this company, rather than ask for a refund all I asked for was that the next year Rick send me scion wood for the varieties that had died. 2013 came and went, but nothing ever came.

We had an amazing day picking apples. The property is beautiful and the people were fantastic. I will definitely be going back next year

My first impression was over the phone as I had called to ask some simple questions about hours and operation. They were extremely rude. Bad first impression, and I will never have the desire to visit.

Wagon Wheel is awesome! Love their apples and the owner is very nice.
