I absolutely at awww, of this place! It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen inside and outseen! If I had to get married again, it would definitely be here. They do all kinds of events here. The price is very reasonable for all that you're getting. It has a beautiful sunset by the Cheasakpe Bay canal. It smells nice inside the barn! They have a gorgeous Air Bed & Breakfast. They have Apple picking here as well.
Fantastic venue with incredible staff- shoutout to our incredible coordinator Maranne! Even with getting rained out, Thousand Acre Farms was the perfect place to get married. Our impromptu indoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful. We upgraded for early arrival for the ladies, the addition of the cider barn for the guys, and my husband and I stayed in the lovely suite on the second floor for the night. Everything was magical, I’d give 6 stars if I could.
I attended my sister's wedding here in 2025. The venue, service and staff truly all deserve 5 stars and they truly made the day special for our family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get married!! Can't say enough good things and the sunset during the ceremony was spectacular!
Absolutely beautiful venue ran by some great people. If you’re thinking about where you should have your event: 1) Stop thinking about it 2) go with TAF 3) spend the time you would’ve spent thinking about where to have your event on thinking about how to solve world hunger
We had a lovely wedding at Thousand Acre but struggled significantly with Shannon and the staff. Throughout the planning, their communication was terrible, losing documentation, requesting the same things multiple times, losing checks we sent, and emailing over and over again about advertisements. Their emails were abrupt and accusatory like we were managing things poorly, when really they were the problem. As someone who works in a professional office environment myself, I could never imagine running a business this way. Additionally, they kept adding extra costs, including having us pay $1200 for "early arrival" at 10am and then just before the wedding they told us they were barring the groom's party from early arrival to the Cider Barn unless we paid another $1200. They also had us pay an extra $1000 to extend our reception until 11pm and then a month before the wedding disclosed that they required that we send guests home at 10:15pm instead and forced us to use the extra time for clean up. We heard from multiple outside vendors that they are considering not working with Thousand Acre (or refuse to work with Thousand Acre anymore) because of this type of behavior that they hear from multiple clients. The site is beautiful but not worth the frustrations and hidden costs.
