Smith Farms - Frankfort IN

Fresh apples and very tasty. We picked Fuji, Red Court, Macintosh and a couple others. My 2 year old loved them so much that he ate a whole apple while he was there. Thank you so much Smith farms.

Always been a firm believer in supporting locally grown because I know it helps local and they are appreciative. The quality of the place has definitely diminished. I choose not to ever visit again. The owner definitely needs to work on her people skills.

We've been visiting Smith Farms in June for 5 years. Sunday was year 6. It was NOT the same. We were not greeted with the usual warm smile and welcoming greeting. Instead, an older woman (presumably the owner) sat at the cart eating & didn't even look up at us. We had to ask to be handed a container. I then asked if there was any strawberry jam this year & her response was, "Do you see any this year?" I was taken aback & didn't respond. We typically get 10lbs, but there wasn't many left & most were 1/2 their normal size. We stopped at a little over 5lbs. Even upon checkout, the gentleman in front of me commented on all of the deer tracks he'd seen. "Yup," was all she could be bothered to mutter. She said nothing to us other than the price & went back to take her seat. We brought extra family this year & it was an embarrassing experience. We will find another spot in future years. We pay more for the experience. If we wanted rude, we'd go buy our strawberries at Walmart.

I love visiting Smith Family Farms! Our family of 7 have picked our pumpkins from them for several years, and as they have grown their farm and have more produce available, I have used them more and more. I love having them so close to Mulberry, IN. I can run over to their farm and pick/buy fresh berries, watermelon (the BEST watermelon I have had!) tomatoes, beans, corn, and I even cut my own fresh flowers this year. I can't wait to go cut some sunflowers and pick some Honeycrisp apples! I highly recommend Smith Family Farms of Mulberry, IN!

The Smith Family has done a wonderful job providing fresh fruit, vegetables and a safe place for our kids to visit during the spring and summer. We appreciate all that they do for our community. They are personable, passionate and knowledgeable about their farm. Thank you! #BoilerUp
