Sherwood Forest Nursery - Ballwin MO

Sherwood Forest Nursery is extensive, offering a wide variety of plants. I particularly love the colorful annuals. The service is excellent, and I would also like to add that TRC Outdoor Company provides outstanding outdoor services as well.

We had Sherwood Forest mulch our yard again this spring and we couldn't be more pleased! With the change of ownership, there's always a concern/question if quality will remain a priority. I am pleased to say, the outcome of the work (we also had some planting done besides clean/up/mulching) surpassed our past experience which was already an exceeds expectations! Thank you John and crew - our yard looks fabulous!

John transformed our home — from a bland front yard to a stunning work of art!! The design is beautiful, the plants are gorgeous, and the installation was so well done. We highly recommend Sherwood Forest Nursery and John Payne’s vision.

Last summer i discovered this place. First, i was treated horribly by a ginger blonde. She was just rude. Then, i was looking at the house plants and discovered that they ALL had a infestation of mealies. I bright out to the blonde girls attention and she replied “we are aware of it, treated it and get over it”… WHAT!?!! I ran…didn’t walk, RAN! Went back a couple times just to see if they were actively doing something about it. NOPE! . Today i went there in hopes of change. Again…NOPE! Mealies on so many plants! So many! If you are new to the plant world, you may want to look up mealies and other pests so that you are aware of what you are buying. These WILL spread quickly! And you will lose your amazing plants you’ve put money and love into. I truly hope that you fix this issue.

Jim and gang were awesome in picking out a mature tree. Jim was extremely knowledgable and was awesome in assisting us in choosing a tree. They waited until dormancy to plant and the planting crew was very respectful of the landscaping and the tree itself. It is perfect. This will be our "go to" place in the future!
