Root Orchards. Sweet Cherries - Mosier OR

We visited Root Orchards last July and had such a wonderful time! 🍒 The cherry picking experience was absolutely amazing — the orchard is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing day out. The kids absolutely loved it! They had so much fun picking fresh cherries straight from the trees and enjoying the open space. It’s a great place for families to connect with nature and create happy memories together. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and the quality of the cherries was excellent. We’re already looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and refreshing outing! 🌿

Best in Mosier for all different varieties of cherries 🍒 as well as beautiful views and truly awesome owners

The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and most importantly, there are so many delicious cherries to pick that we had a great time. It's a place we definitely want to come back to with our family every year.

We had a wonderful time spent cherry picking here. The drive upto this place is also very scenic n peaceful. The cherries are sweet and very tasty. Best upick farm ! Will be visiting this place next year again !!!

The best place for U pick Raniers! They were the size of silver dollars, the biggest Raniers I've ever picked. I picked some dark red cherries as well but not sure which kind they were. They only had two kinds that were ripe when we went but we went for Raniers. You have to bring your own plastic bags, buckets, etc. they charge for the box. They are more expensive than the other orchards I've been to this year. I paid $1.50 to $1.75/lb at other places. I gotta say, it's really the quality that counts. Well worth it.
