Redemption Farms - Denton MD

Our family has loved visiting over the past couple of years. Last year we picked strawberries in their beautiful patch, and this year we came back for apples, pumpkins, squash, and sweet potatoes. We unanimously agreed they were the best sweet potatoes we’ve ever tasted. There’s just nothing like the joy of harvesting your own produce without all the planting and tending… we get to do the fun part! Their apple cider is incredible, and the prices for both produce and U-Pick are always fair. This is exactly the kind of family-owned, local business we love to support. I appreciate that they give generously to those in need and openly share their Christian faith, often connecting Bible verses to their farming and life experiences. It’s a meaningful way to feel closer to nature, and the food we bring home to our table. Highly recommend visiting—Redemption Farms is a blessing to our community!

I live in Georgetown, DC, and it usually takes almost two hours to drive there. But I happened to find this apple farm by accident while taking a wrong turn and the apples were unbelievably delicious, beyond words! The owners were also incredibly kind and welcoming. I'll definitely come back again next year.

We stopped to pick strawberries, and were overjoyed with the quality and quantity. There is nothing as sweet and delicious as a fresh picked berry, and that is what these were. We will be back. UPDATE 7/13/23 Stopped on our way east and picked up some fresh corn. Delicious!

From the best, most delicious strawberries in the spring to the beautiful pumpkins and apples in the fall, this place has it all! Not to mention, the customer service is top tier—every time I visit, they make me feel like part of the family. The quality of their produce is unbeatable, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes the experience even better. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! Highly recommend!!!
