A beautiful, quiet orchard with delicious apples. Because it’s a no-frills place, the kids (and adults) were free to wander, sample and pick sweet, tart and juicy cortlands, macs and more without worrying about chaos and too many people that you get at bigger farms.
Owl Rock Farm provided an excellent apple picking experience! Perfect for family outings in a relaxed atmosphere. Apple quality was great! The Macs were super crisp and juicy. Plenty of fruit made picking easy for both adults and kids.
Had a BEAUTIFUL day picking in the orchard with a group of friends. It was super peaceful and not packed like many of the bigger orchards. It also totally redeemed Macintosh apples for me - I'd hated them since childhood until I had them from Owl Rock Farm - they're super crisp and delicious! Highly recommend both the picking experience and the apples themselves!
Had a great time picking this morning, lots of apples to eat, cook with and enjoy. Then off to Slaters for lunch. A nice Fall day!
