Orchards of Concklin - Pomona NY

My son used to work there for many years. We go every mothers day to buy flowers there selection is great. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We love Rich, and Alie. Wish they'd bring back there chocolate walnut chip cookies they we're amazing! Definitely a place to ck.out.

Cashier could use a lesson in customer service skills. She acted as if I was bothering her and couldn’t even be bothered to say hello. Anyone looking for baked goods would be better off saving some money and going to the local grocery store for the same if not better quality products with nicer employees!

Second time at this orchard and we enjoyed ourselves. The apples were absolutely delicious. It is such a beautiful and scenic place. I purchased the infamous apple cider donuts, apple butter and apple cider to take home. We all had so fun spending time together at Orchards of Concklin.

This very well run family farm 🚜👨‍🌾 has been in operation for 200 years. Everything from the fresh produce🌽 to the local honey 🍯🐝 and the delicious baked goods🥧 and sweet treats R spot on👍Don't 4get 2 visit &feed the 🐓🐤🐔 B4 U go. Beautiful orchard. You have to make reservations online. Just go onto the website - they ask for name and number of people in your party and then you choose your time slot. We actually did it as we got there (the original orchard we picked was Dr. Davis and that was packed!) But I don't recommend doing that. The later slots were all filled. When you enter the apple picking section they ask if you have a reservation. We first went to the store/supermarket but the actual orchard is a little ways down the road - we took the car and parked there. You only pay when you get there - you have the option of either small bags ($12/each) or a big bag ($45). I'm not sure if you can take 1 big bag for your whole party or if you would have to get 2, i guess it depends on the number of people, they would tell you. We walked quite a way to get any apples - a lot of the trees had already been picked bare but as we got deeper into the orchard there were more trees with apples. There were quite a few varieties of apples but the names are only on one end of the row, so if you walk the length of it and then walk the other side you don't quite know what you've got. I'm sure if it really mattered to you, you could ask someone from the farm. They also have plots of corn but of course those were done for the season. We stayed for a bit more than an hour - no one tells you when to leave . Masks are required at all times but regardless, it was lovely to be outside. They have porter potties by the parking lot if you need to go and also near the store .
