Nebraska Nursery & Color Gardens - Lincoln NE

Was recommended this place by a friend/neighbor for some bare spots of grass. I needed grass seed and left with seed and a shrub that is half off all of September. You get what you pay for here and I know the product will be better than any big box stores. Finally open on Saturday too!! Will come back! Lady was super helpful and nice to work with!

I’ve tried to like this place. Beautiful plants and the people are very friendly but unfortunately I have to give them 1 star because their service isn’t very good when it comes to landscaping. I’ve been working with them on a project since the end of May. I was told the week of June 3 would be the week they would work on my yard. That got pushed back a couple weeks due which they said was due to rain and which is understandable. When it finally got done they were so rushed that the plants that were put in were not evenly spaced and it just looked sloppy. I asked if they could come back and fix the areas that needed it and they said they would. Mind you the people are very friendly on the phone but 3 weeks later I’m still waiting. I’m being charged A LOT of money for very poor service. The plants are beautiful at the retailers but I do not recommend using them for your landscaping services.

I bought moss roses here this summer and boy did they ever thrive!! Just beautiful plants! Someone helped me decide what I was going for and gave me some information on them. I would definitely come back here, if I was looking for more plants OR if I just wanted to walk around pretty plants.

We just had 2 trees delivered and planted by Nebraska Nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the service! The installation crew worked efficiently and tended to the smallest detail. I had another piece of landscaping that needed to be adjusted prior to planting the trees and without a question they pulled some tools from their truck and began to assist me. The crew went the extra mile when they saw a bare patch of ground left behind after my landscaping adjustment, immediately took the sod from the holes they had dug, carefully prepped the ground and placed the sod over the bare ground. They definitely left our yard looking much better than what they found it, the mark of great service! We will be using them again! Thanks Nebraska Nursery!

I really wanted to like this place. They have beautiful plants. I hired them to redo my back yard. They came and took notes, told me they would draw up a plan. I waited and waited and I never heard back from them! This after another large landscape company left me hanging with a poorly done job. What does it take to get someone to help me with my yard?
