Montrose Orchards - Montrose MI

We enjoyed the shop, donuts and cider, and pony rides. The staff was friendly and the hay ride was great. However, we were confused about a lot of things. There were a lot of empty out buildings and we didn't know if we were supposed to go in them. One had hay bales, but benches were piled on them so we don't know what the purpose was. Storage?? No signs or anything. The pony rides were cash only, and you pay for them outside. The hay rides you pay for inside. The animal cages are empty now except for the chickens. Overall, a good time, but could use some more signs or something lol

Nice owners and staff in the shop. We stayed as Harvest Host members in a field for two nights. Access to the site was easy with our large fifth wheel rv and the site was level. It offered sun for solar and was an enjoyable stay.

I've been coming to Montrose Orchards since I was a child. They're still a wonderful orchard that has not lost any of their charm.

Awesome Harvest Host experience. Dan greeted us when we arrived and shared all the spots to setup camp on his property and gave us our choice. A lot of stuff to choose from in the store, pues, jellies, syrup, etc... Very friendly host and peaceful surroundings with big rig friendly spots. Definitely recommend a visit.

First off its old, but thats what brings its charm. If you want to simply get away for a little while and enjoy some cidar or fresh doughnuts while stepping back in time a bit.. I recommend visiting. Staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of jams and preserves!
