McLeod Farms Roadside Market - McBee SC

Passed this stand on the way to Hartsville and decided to come back for some snacks and a wander around. We didn't check out the museum but a nice stop!

This was my first visit here. I really enjoyed the visit. I loved the shop here. They had vegetables, fruits, baked goods, jams, sauces. I purchased a small bag of crimson crisp apples! They are so good! I would love to go back again for another visit! The staff was friendly and welcoming! Oh, I didn't mention! They have ice cream too! The museum was interesting as well. I love McLeod's, always have. I go here for all of my fresh produce. They have all sorts of fresh, healthy vegetables and fruits, tons of preserves and fruit butters, and a lot of other local products from farms around the area. They also serve some tasty home made sweets and ice cream. McLeod's is known for their peaches, and they have the highest quality peaches that you'll ever find.

McLeod's Farm is the best. They have a large variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, just picked! They also have the most amazing muffins! I always get the apple muffins but my family loves the other varieties! They are a must get and we highly recommend McLeods.

I have been disappointed by store bought peaches for years now, they don't have great flavor and are usually mealy. After seeing McLeod Farms on a tv show (Food Tech, season 1, episode 5), I splurged and ordered a box of their peaches for delivery. They are amazing! The flavor that peaches are supposed to taste like, and not a mealy one in the box. They were very well packed and were really high quality. I'm so impressed that I actually just ordered two more boxes for delivery in July and August. I have already put a reminder in my calendar for May of next year to go ahead and order more. Yes, they're expensive, but I *am* getting them shipped, and the quality is worth the price!
