Mahoney's Garden Center - Winchester MA

I’ve always been a big fan of Mahoney’s Garden Center in Winchester, and when I was planning my wedding and found out they did wedding florals, I was intrigued. Out of all of the floral vendors I spoke to, they had the most competitive pricing, were the best communicators, and seemed to best understand my “vision” for the day. And wow did they deliver. The flowers could not have been any more perfect. We had dozens of guests ask where the florals were from or otherwise compliment them, and guests were clamoring to bring the centerpieces home at the end of the night. They were bright, fresh, arranged beautifully, and aligned exactly with the rest of the decor. I could not have been happier! Thank you to Rachel for being a great contact throughout the process, and Lisa for being the lead designer day of and executing this all beautifully. Thank you Mahoney’s!

Mahoney's in Winchester is huge. Excellent selection of houseplants. They were a little light on alocasias and anthuriums but fully stocked on everything else. I love that they had tiny plants for $4, so you can have a lot of little unique plants for not much money. The price for houseplants was not bad and they are very healthy plants. Many were also different from the houseplants we saw at their Falmouth and Oserville stores, too. They had a great clearance section, too. They also had a huge selection of pots. They were really nice and very unique. I can't wait for the spring to see what they have for outdoors. The lot was massive. I'm sure we will be equally impressed. The staff were helpful. They have an adorable tabby you can meet upon entrance. They took great care in packing our plants for travel, too. I always appreciate that. I highly recommend taking a trip there. You will not be disappointed.

🌿 A wonderful place! You can find every kind of plant here, both for indoors and the garden. The variety is impressive from flowers to trees, pots to care products, everything related to plants is available. The atmosphere is peaceful and full of nature. 🌱

Back again today. So much to choose from I bouught some Coleus! Great selection! I love Mahoney's. If they don't have what you need for your outside living and garden, no one will! They are very informative and will answer your questions. Great selection for inside plants / gardens!

Plan for more time than you're expecting. This garden center is so much more than your average garden center. I realized I haven't done a review yet, although this is somewhere I usually visit when in the area. My friend that lives locally has introduced many friends/family to this store...it actually could be considered a destination. It is HUGE! Another friend went for the first time last weekend and I'm not sure if we spent 2 or 3 hours, but it could've been even longer, AND we skipped a few of the outside areas because of the weather. Everything is beautiful, smells amazing, and so lovely to be inside the main store/greenhouse on rainy days.
