MadCat Pumpkin Farm - Jefferson SD

Picked the best one! Both the patch and the pumpkin! :D This is a local, family-run pumpkin paradise near Dakota Valley School and Jefferson, SD and is easy to get too. Short drive on gravel as you approach the farm. A huge plot of: pick-your-own pumpkins, a corn maze, acorn & butternut squash, and both straw bales & cornstalk bundles are available for purchase too. Too many gourdous ones to count, but they have a great variety of mini's, small, large, and XL! All shapes and colors represented: Jack-o-lantern orange, dark green, Casper white, warty goblin, Cinderella, Jarrahdale blue, yellow, fiery orange, teardrops, etc. Note: Bring cash for the honor system box, a cutting tool, gloves, and your boots to enjoy a great family outing.

This place was great! No rides or gimmicks just a cut your own pumpkin patch! They have cutting tools and a box for your money along with wagons! Plenty of pumpkins and squash. Make sure to bring some gloves to protect your hands and wear jeans/boots.

Great price to go and pick your own pumpkins. My son thought it was so cool to cut his own pumpkin off the vine!

What a great patch! Plenty of beautiful pumpkins that are easy to pick and pay for. Defintely worth checking out.

Good ol pumpkin patch nothing but a field of pumpkins! My grandkids ran all over looking for the right one Decent prices too! Thanks for the memories!
