Reviews
Among their selection of fresh vegetables, dairy, spices, cider, and specialty grocery items, Lull Farm has an impressive variety of heirloom and heritage apples. We bought two of each of the varieties that were out of the ordinary (e.g., not the typical Mutsu, Fuji, Macoun, Honeycrisp) to discover Albermarle Pippin, Belle de Boskoop, Knobbed Russet, Nittanty, Snow Fameuse, and Rubinette, to name a few. Wow! We like the cider, too---just the right blend of sweet and slightly tart. They also have varieties of potatoes we've never seen before. Can't wait to go back!
I LOVE this place! I’m here twice a year! A wonderful orchard, with a cute little store that has so many items I can’t find at home. And a FABULOUS Caribbean BBQ Stand outside. I ALWAYS order a whole Jerk Chicken to take home every trip. Their Curry Goat and Coconut Shrimp is fantastic!! Will always make a stop here whenever I visit.
New England is a wonderful place to visit in the autumn. If you are driving through Southern New Hampshire, take some time to visit Lull Farm at 65 Broad St, in Hollis, NH (off of Route 3, Exit 6). I stopped by the other day to purchase their sweet corn, which is delicious, as well as a bag of Macintosh apples, which I will use to make apple crisp. Pick your own apples, grab a cornstalk, some colorful mums; they have a wide variety of items, indoors and out. Inside the store, you may wish to spend a minute or two checking out their baked goods, maple syrup, vegetables, meat, cheeses, snacks, flowers, and other specialty items. On Halloween, the personnel at Lull Farm, lights up a multitude of pumpkins that they have carved; it’s always a treat to stop by and see rows of carved Jack-‘o-lanterns, glowing in the dark. After Thanksgiving, check out their Christmas trees, wreaths, garland, and other holiday decorations and treats. The parking lot may be packed on weekends, but generally a space opens up pretty quickly. Look no further than Lull farm for a fun outing this fall.
Big place that’s great for PYO, baked goods, and bringing families. It can get a bit crowded. But they’re less of a farm stand and more of a small grocer- a lot of their produce is now outsourced (if it doesn’t say “our own”, they didn’t grow it) and the quality control for their own stuff has gone downhill recently.
Lull Farm is the absolute best! The variety is amazing, fresh apples, produce, dairy, meats, delicious breads and pastries, and so much more. The staff is wonderful too. Check it out, they even have classic tunes playing while you meander about choosing the delights you will take home.
