Hyannis Country Garden - Barnstable MA

Me and my Ma came here after Yarmouth and were looking around at the beautiful plant selection and Koi in the back. Very friendly and inviting talkative staff! Had a big conversation about tattoos and plant species and so much more, bought a number of plants and a spectacular pitcher plant! A myst for exotic cool plants and other beautiful koi and even trees.

Found such a great plant shop! 🌿 I wasn’t even planning to stop in, but I’m so glad I did. They have an amazing selection, especially if you're looking for annuals, but they also carry a nice variety of perennials, herbs, and even a few harder-to-find plants. Everything looked healthy, well-cared for, and thoughtfully organized, which made browsing really enjoyable. The staff were absolutely wonderful — super friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all my questions, from how big certain plants would eventually grow to how much sunlight and water they would need. It felt so refreshing to get genuine advice from people who are truly passionate about what they do, instead of just reading a tag or guessing based on vague instructions. One of the best surprises? The prices were very reasonable — almost identical to what you’d find at a big box store — but the experience was so much better. Helpful staff, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and no sense of being rushed or overwhelmed. You could really take your time and enjoy choosing the right plants. I left with a few new additions to my garden and a huge smile on my face. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to — and recommending to friends!

Great place! Friendly staff and many unique gift items. Went there to see Marie Luck...resident artist, who was there for the week painting hydrangeas and selling her shirts with beautiful hydrangeas on them.

Great selection of home and garden supplies. They have everything from seasonal decorations to a wall of ribbon to bring to life your holiday mood boards. Their garden center is massive and well stocked. Lots of seasonal mums and decorative gourds greets you as you arrive. The biggest surprise is how extensive and varied their pet supply inventory was. If your dog needs it, they probably have several varieties of it in stock. We saw food, treats, beds, and even first aid products on the shelves. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth checking out.

Wow this place always makes me smile, friendly staff, always have everything that we need for our garden and the quality of plants and flowers and things they have is amazing!
