Hoerr Nursery - Peoria IL

First time ever here,I'll be back for sure. Looked all over for honeysuckle vine,couldn't find. Till I called and they had a huge variety! Love my honeysuckle vine,and all the hummingbirds have found it already!

I ordered 3 varieties of cherry trees and 2 varieties of apple trees. Items are coming in piece meal. Its been over one month and all I've gotten are one kind of apple and one kind of cherry. Im disappointed they didn't inform of this possibility when I called in the order I have to drive 40 miles to pick up the trees. They charge $70 for delivery. There will be minimum of 3 trips to get my order, assuming all the remaining trees come in together Delivery would have been $210 at the minimum. I have to pick them up. Saddened by there order fulfillment. If there is a next time I will make sure I ask the appropriate questions. Dont be unpleasantly surprised like I was. Staff at the nursery is very nice

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We came to purchase a tree for our new home and they helped us pick and pack the perfect one.

Huge inventory of plants, trees and accessories. Well run, well organized, knowledgeable friendly eager to help staff. Update 10/3/22 Halloween decorations are out and the usual fall items with plenty of hostas, flowers and plants left. Back again, bought some mums food selection to choose from.

I could give Hoerr Nursery a -10 I would. I purchased 2 Junior Giant Arborvitaes in the fall.The instructions state they’re excellent in large container. I purchased two huge containers and planted, watered and mulched them. They did not make it through the winter. I took photos but the manager said they are not supposed to be planted in container. I think due to the economy the employees are instructed to deny all possible returns. Therefore if you buy from them do not expect them to honor the warranty.
