Our family had such a wonderful time here! The straw bale slide was a huge hit—our kid loved climbing up and sliding down over and over again. The corn maze had little knowledge stations along the way, making it both fun and educational to read with the kids (we were also told there’s a prize hidden to be found!). There were 4 very friendly goats and 2 rabbits that my kid really enjoyed petting. The corn kernel pit was cool and relaxing, a perfect spot for toddlers to play. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We had a great day and highly recommend this farm for families! 🎃🌽🐐🐇
I made my first visit along with my sister, to D around Barn Berries earlier this week! We arrived at 7:15am, 15 minutes after they opened and there were a number of people already picking in the field! We were initially assigned a row which seemed to be already picked. We simply asked to pick somewhere else and were immediately accommodated! The berries were plentiful although small this year due to lack of rain! And they are very flavorful! The staff in the field were amazing and very helpful by getting our berries out of the sun as we were picking a lot of berries. They also helped load our car! I would definitely pick here again! They provide containers for picking and for taking home. And they accept cash, checks and credit cards!
Sweetest strawberries ever! Great picking experience as well
This is the third year we've been to D Round Barn for strawberries and we'll keep coming back every year. The prices are reasonable, and the strawberries are great, but the people are the best. One in particular is Lillian P. Without hesitation, she offered to help carry our buckets when she noticed I was having trouble getting two of our boys over the rows. I thought she was going to simply hold the buckets while I got the little ones to the road, but she also carried them with us all the way to the barn! She also chatted with us on the walk. This was above and beyond what I expected and I hope she is rewarded extra for her good work. Highly recommend!
I came at the tail end of the season, but there were still plenty of very sweet berries to pick! The berries were wonderful and so was the staff. Everyone was friendly and polite! Sadly, the beautiful berries I picked were pretty battered by the time I got them home. They give you ice cream buckets to pick in and then transfer them to a cardboard flat to weigh them and transport them home. Maybe they could offer the cardboard flats to picking like most patches as ripe berries are fragile and you don't want to have them crushed by the deep layering of a full bucket. The pouring of them into the flat pretty much totaled out the smaller berries
