Chelsea Garden Center - Kings County NY

This will be my go to spot for plants, especially larger pieces. A little out of the way for us, but completely worth the trip. Every plant looked in great condition and well cared for. Everything was well organized. They have great selection of indoor and outdoor plants and pots. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We picked up a small pine and a pot for our balcony and are thrilled with choice.

What a fun gem of a garden center. I always like to search for plant stores when I’m in different areas, and on a side quest from ikea.. stumbled upon here. The staff was helpful. Plants are well taken care of. I was informed they have another location in Williamsburg as well! I look forward to checking them out in the future. I couldn’t leave empty handed, and left with a small Norfolk pine and a poinsettia— along with a few watering trays (can’t really ever have enough of those). Anyway, 10/10 would recommend to any plant lover.. I look forward to visiting again in the Spring.

Nice plants, reasonably priced, gives discounts for plants in need of TLC. The people working there also gave us advice on how to revive the plant we got that was on sale due to needing TLC. There was also a cute dog.

For those outside of Red Hook, it's worth the trek. Incredibly diverse selection, well organized (shade, sun, etc.), better prices than you'll get at closer garden centers. Also, the team is exceptional! I brought the dimensions for each of my empty planters and Gina curated a perfect mix. She even told me which perennials would need larger planters next year. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection of plants-such variety from sun to shade, florals, ferns & shrubs! The prices are also reasonable for size. The staff here is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I will be returning for ALLL my gardening needs.
