Botanic Gardens - Baton Rouge LA

Beautiful well taken care of rose garden, it's a shame one of the mountains is broke

Roses in every shade, pretty walking path and small fountain. Nice photo spot. Saw many varieties of basil that I didn't know existed. Needed tlc in the weeding and pruning areas but still quite nice.

The botanical garden is located within Independence Community Park. It's really small. It literally can take five minutes if you rush through. Its still beautiful nonetheless. When I went there were gorgeous flowers in bloom. Since it didn't take long to tour the gardens, my family headed to the other side of the park so my son could play on the playground. Overall, a nice experience.

The Botanic Gardens is a very peaceful place to visit. If you just need a beautiful relaxing scenery. If you need a place to sit and think. I would definetly recommend if you were going to have a small wedding or special event.

I absolutely love this place. It's dreamy, peaceful and relaxing. The people that keep it up do a fantastic job.
