Me and my children had such a fun and exciting time picking strawberries here! We got two gallons of strawberries for 35$ and my kids absolutely loved it! The strawberries were nice and ripe and in perfect condition! We can’t wait to make some jam and preserves :)
You pick strawberries! They also have already picked strawberries. The strawberries are plumpy, sweet, and juicy. Unlike store bought strawberries, you can smell the sweetness of the fruits!! The farm also sell many other fresh produces. The staff is very friendly and helpful! We are lucky the farm is so close to the city!
Absolutely love this place the lady here was very nice and the butter they sell here is amazing they also sell eggs here 12 for 6$ and 30 for 12$ what a steal I love how pretty everything was definitely will be coming back
Lots of signs make it easy to get there. Process was straightforward- stop and prepay for a bucket, head out to the fields. Seasoned pickets will know to walk to the far end of the rows and back part of the field, which proved true for me on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of berries, but I was disappointed by two major things. 1) Many berries had split from the bottom up, something I’d never seen before. This left the inside of the berries open to bugs and other stuff. 2) Most disappointing, the berries were tasteless. I’d tasted a couple in the field and figured my tastebuds were off due to allergy congestion. Ate a few on the way home, then took some to work where my coworkers wouldn’t even eat them after a few took a bite. If I lived closer I’d return the berries and ask for a refund. Hopefully the berries will be better with a couple more weeks of sunshine since this looks like a great place!!!!
Went out to pick strawberries today saw lots of signs saying that was place was open was hollered at by a gentleman saying that they were closed, but there was a sign out that said that it was on honor system when they were closed read all the instructions, but then was told that if I saw nobody i should have known it was closed. Everything I read says it’s open until 5
